What size are the totes?
27-gallon heavy-duty plastic totes (about 30.6 x 20.6 x 14.3 inches) with snap-tight lids, rated for up to 100 lbs each. They stack cleanly and hold up to a full move without splitting like cardboard does.
Do the totes come with lids?
Yes. Every tote comes with its own heavy-duty snap-on lid, so there's nothing to tape.
Do you provide labels?
Yes. Every tote has a clear label pocket on the end, and we include plain index cards. Write the room and what's inside, slide the card in, and toss it when you unpack. No tape, stickers, or marker on the totes.
Are the totes cleaned between rentals?
Yes. Every tote is wiped down and sanitized before it goes out to the next customer.
Is a deposit required?
No deposit. Full payment is made when you book. See our Rental Terms at okaloosatoteco.com/terms.
What payment methods do you accept?
Debit or credit card through our secure online checkout when you book, or Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or cash. Prices are plus 7% Florida sales tax (Okaloosa County rate), added at checkout.
What happens if a tote is damaged or missing?
Normal scuffs and wear are expected. If a tote isn't returned or comes back cracked or broken, the replacement fee is $15 per tote. A missing or broken lid is $5 per lid. We count everything together at pickup.
Can I keep the totes longer than 2 weeks?
Yes. Extension pricing applies: $40 per extra week on the 20-tote package, $60 on the 40-tote package, and $80 on the 60-tote package. Let us know before your pickup date.
Do you deliver and pick up?
Yes — both are included in every package inside our service area.
Do you deliver on Eglin AFB or Hurlburt Field?
We don't have base access, so we can't drive onto Eglin or Hurlburt Field. Living on base? We'll meet you at a public spot just outside the gate, help load the totes and dolly into your vehicle, and meet you there again for pickup. Book online, then text (850) 366-3126 to set the spot and time. Off-base homes, apartments, condos and storage units get regular door-to-door delivery.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Book online at least 3 days (72 hours) before your delivery date. Choose your package on the Packages page, enter your delivery date at checkout, and we'll call or text to confirm your drop-off window. Need totes sooner? Call or text (850) 366-3126 and we'll do our best.
Can I pick up the totes myself?
Totes are usually delivered, but self-pickup can be arranged. Just mention it when you book.
