Rental Terms

Rental period

• Each package is a 2-week rental starting on your delivery date.
• Need more time? Extensions are $40 per week for Starter (20 totes), $60 per week for Standard (40 totes), and $80 per week for Full House (60 totes). Let us know before your scheduled pickup date.
• If the totes aren't ready at the scheduled pickup and no extension was arranged, one extension week is charged and we'll reschedule pickup.

Payment and deposit

• Full payment is due when you book. Package prices do not include Florida sales tax (7% in Okaloosa County), which is added at checkout. Online bookings are paid by debit or credit card through our secure checkout. Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or cash bookings are paid before or at delivery.
• There is no deposit.

Scheduling

• Online bookings need a delivery date at least 72 hours (3 days) after booking. For anything sooner, call or text (850) 366-3126 first.
• We'll call or text within one business day of your booking to confirm your delivery date, time, and address.
• If we can't serve your requested date or address, you'll get a full refund.

Cancellations

• Cancel 48 hours or more before your scheduled delivery for a full refund.
• Cancellations less than 48 hours before delivery are charged a $50 fee, and the rest of your payment is refunded.
• After delivery, the rental is non-refundable, including for unused totes.

Delivery and pickup

• An adult (18+) should be present at delivery, or you can tell us a safe spot to leave the totes when you confirm.
• On pickup day, empty the totes, put the lids on, and stack them with the dollies at the agreed spot. We count everything together at pickup.

Using the totes

• Each tote is rated for up to 100 lbs when the weight is spread evenly. Stack loaded totes no more than 4 high.
• Please don't tape, write on, or put stickers on the totes. Label them with the index cards we provide in the clear pocket on each tote, and leave the pockets attached.
• Don't pack hazardous materials, chemicals, fuel, liquids that could leak, perishable food, or anything illegal.

Damaged or missing equipment

• Normal scuffs and wear are expected and never charged.
• If a tote isn't returned or comes back cracked or broken, the replacement fee is $15 per tote. A missing or broken lid is $5 per lid. A missing or broken dolly is charged at its replacement cost.
• If anything arrives damaged, tell us within one business day of delivery so you aren't charged for it.
• Fees are due at pickup or within 7 days by invoice.

Your belongings

• The totes are provided for packing and moving household goods. You're responsible for how items are packed, lifted, and moved, and for using the dollies safely.
• Okaloosa Tote Co. isn't responsible for loss of or damage to the items you pack.
